New information has come to light regarding the untimely passing of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were located at their residence property on Sunday.

As detailed in an account citing a person close to the family, a therapist scheduled for an appointment first raised the alarm after being unable to gain access the residence. The therapist then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives in the vicinity.

After gaining access to the home, Romy found her father's body. It is said she then fled the house in anguish, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. Another individual who had accompanied her then dialed 911. Afterward, paramedics discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Law enforcement have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of murder in the first degree, along with the alleged use of a deadly weapon, said to be a knife. He is now detained and denied bail.
