He additionally honored Michele Reiner, stating: "Asserting that they were a incredible duo would be an understatement. My heart still pangs every time I remember you." He ended with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Fellow Artist

"Right away, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese wrote.

In a new development, a Los Angeles judge ruled to bar the publication of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, following a petition from the LAPD.

A legal directive placed a embargo on the cases to limit the public release of "all case details, notes, reports or photos" connected to the probe.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the result of foul play, with a public database listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".
